Franks and Potatoes

1 (12-oz.) package frankfurters, sliced (cut in half circles to avoid a choking hazard)

5–6 extra-large potatoes, peeled and diced

½ cup ketchup 

4 tablespoons garlic powder

In a pot, mix frankfurters, potatoes, ketchup, and garlic powder. Add water to cover.

Cook uncovered over medium heat until it starts to bubble. Reduce heat and simmer for at least 1 hour, until the sauce thickens.
