FLAMBÉ // Flaming menorah shots

Yield: 8 shots

For each shot, you will need:

1 part coffee liqueur

1 part Irish cream

1 part Bacardi 151 rum (or regular rum or vodka)

You will also need:

8 shot glasses

Pour coffee liqueur into a shot glass.

Slowly pour in the Irish cream over the back of a spoon, allowing it to settle on top of the coffee liqueur.

Slowly pour the rum over the back of the spoon, allowing it to settle on top of the Irish cream. Repeat with remaining shot glasses.

Carefully transfer filled shot glasses to a menorah (see note). Light them with a match or a kitchen torch. It may take a few tries, depending on the alcohol you use. They will burn for a few minutes. Once the flames are out, enjoy your shot. (You can blow out the fire at any time.)

NOTE: Before you fill your shot glasses, check whether they fit in your menorah. If they don’t, you can instead arrange them in the shape of a menorah, on a rectangular tray in the center of the table.

NOTE: When mixing drinks, 1 part equals 1 ounce. If you prefer, you can use more or less, just keep the ratios the same: equal amounts of coffee liqueur, Irish cream, and rum.
