BROWNIE FOR ONE
A most exceptional guilty pleasure without the guilt.
6 tablespoons zero-calorie sweetener
2 tablespoons white whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
¼ teaspoon baking powder
⅛ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
2 egg whites
2 teaspoons unsweetened almond milk
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a ramekin with cooking spray.
2. Mix sweetener, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt in a small bowl. Add applesauce, egg whites and almond milk and stir until combined.
3. Pour batter into the ramekin and bake for 8-12 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
COOKING TIP For a quick baking cheat, pour the batter into a microwave-safe baking dish and microwave for approximately 90 seconds.
