This fish is one of my favorites. It’s light, mild, and almost buttery, and branzino is much less fatty than sea bass. I love how easy it is to prepare! Supper on the table in no time, with a creamy side of mashed potatoes.

4 branzino fillets
2 teaspoons lemon pepper
Salt, for sprinkling
1 tablespoon olive oil
Juice of 1 lemon or 3 tablespoons lemon juice
Splash of orange juice
½ teaspoon ginger

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
  2. Rinse and pat dry the fish fillets and place in a baking pan.
  3. Sprinkle the fillets with salt and lemon pepper.
  4. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, orange juice, and ginger.
  5. Pour over the fish. Let sit for about 10 minutes. Then baste once. Bake for 20 minutes.

Yield: 4 servings
