Frozen yogurt, easily made at home in five minutes! All you have to do is whisk your favorite yogurt with a little sweetener, some vanilla and cinnamon, and any add-ins your heart desires. These frozen yogurt popsicles are a great on-the-go breakfast (perhaps mix in some granola and berries), as well as the perfect summer snack or dessert. (Try crushed Oreos for an awesome cookies-and-cream version.)

1½ cups Mehadrin Plain Yogurt of choice (Greek, low-fat, full-fat, etc.)
3-5 tablespoons maple syrup (depending on preference; I like mine with little to no sweetener)
1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon cinnamon, optional
Dash of salt
Add-ins of choice: granola, crushed Oreo cookies, chocolate chips, sliced fruit or berries, cereal, nuts, etc.

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, mix together yogurt, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Mix in one or a combination of desired add-ins. Alternatively, divide yogurt mixture into a few bowls and stir a different filling into each bowl. You can also position fruits, like strawberry slices, against the sides of the molds instead of mixing them directly into the yogurt.
  2. Fill ices molds almost to the top and place sticks in. Freeze for a few hours, or until hardened. Popsicles are best if you wait 5 minutes for them to defrost slightly before eating. If necessary, run the popsicles under water to help ease them out of the molds.

Yield: about 6 popsicles
