6 red apples, either Fuji, Cortland, or Honeycrisp, spiralized on the second to largest setting
1 teaspoon cinnamon
⅓ cup orange juice
¼ cup brown sugar

For the crumble:
1 cup almond flour
1 cup rolled oats
½ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of salt
¼ cup oil

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish by spraying it with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine apples with cinnamon, orange juice, and brown sugar. Then spread them into the baking dish.
  3. In the same mixing bowl, combine almond flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and oil. Mix well to form a crumble. Spread crumble mixture over the apples. Bake for 45 minutes uncovered.  Serve warm.

 

Yield: 8-10 servings
